Tammy - You are so right and unfortunately these terms along with so many others contribute to the lack of sustainable performance improvement. When we have clarity around the words we use, this helps to have clarity around the words we think and ultimately goes back to how we make decisions. Since most people do not know themselves specific to how they think and make decisions, this presents a problem for them. I am reading a very detailed book - Why Choose This Book - which looks at the brains function in decision making. As Spock would say: Fascinating!
